    delicious breakfast
    charming decor
    warm hospitality
    weather disappointment
    dining distance

You can't beat the breakfast at Derrin! Freshly cooked with delicious cured meats, it was a culinary highlight. Plus, the charming decor and Ivy's warm hospitality.

The weather could have been better, but with the great dining spots like The Stove just a stroll away, it hardly dampened our spirits!

The location was unbeatable and excellent, close enough to Easy to find from port, D's fish and D's chip restaurant, and ferry at Larne, in a very scenic area. The staff was outstandingly accommodating, the room was airy and nicely furnished with all the facilities catered for.

immaculate stay with good breakfast options in a cute guest house

Derrin Guest House is a true gem! Ivy and Siebe are warm hosts. Our room was impeccably clean, with charming decorations that added a personal touch. The breakfasts were not only delicious but tailored to our preferences was great. The peaceful residential location ensured a restful night's sleep, yet we were just a short stroll from the town center and great dining options. I can't recommend this place enough!

    missed information

No breakfast menu led to missed opportunities like pancakes, and the nearby bus stop could've been highlighted better for easy access to Belfast. The room felt adequate but slightly cramped compared to others. A little more space would have been nice.

    great location with comfortable rooms

The room was spacious and had everything we needed for a relaxing stay. The bed stood out as one of the most comfortable we've ever experienced. Breakfast was freshly prepared and delicious. Other guests mentioned that the handy nearby bus stop could've been noted better for easy access to attractions.

The louvred shutters in our room increased the temperature quickly when closed.

    comfortable mattresses
    cozy guest lounge
    street parking difficulty
    limited breakfast variety
    location noise

The large, bright bedroom featured comfortable mattresses and pillows. Access to a cozy guest lounge with books added a nice touch. Though the location provided easy access to local shops, some difficulty arose with street parking during peak hours, and breakfast could have benefitted from more variety in options. The fresh meat at breakfast ensured a delicious start to the day.
